The BCTV Board of Directors meets the third Thursday of the month at 6:30 PM (unless otherwise noted).
The meetings are held in the Hanna
Cosman Room, Municipal Center, 2nd floor,
230 Main Street, Brattleboro, Vermont.

Basic One-Camera Production
Tuesday & Thursday, January 26 & 28, 6:00-8 PM
Cost: $20
Hands-on instruction on BCTV’s handheld camcorders for general field production and story-telling. Includes instruction on tripod use, basic audio and lighting.
(8 student maximum)
Pre-requisite: none
Intermediate Editing with Final Cut
Thursday, February 4 & 11th, 5:30-7:30 PM
Cost: $20
An introduction to basic but essential editing skills, such as capturing footage, cutting, and adding transitions, special effects, titles and audio tracks.
Pre-requisite: Familiarity with Mac OS & computer interface.
Practicum: 2 or more hours editing a video project
(6 students Maximum)
DVD Authoring Workshop
Thursday, February 25, 5:30 – 7 PM
Cost: $10
You’re done with the editing, now what? Learn how to put your final project on a DVD so you can submit it to BCTV.

Vlogging Workshop
Thursday, March 4th, 5:30 – 7:30 PM
Finished your production and ready to put it up on one of the video hosting sites? Learn how at this workshop.

Audio for Video
Thursday, March 25th, 5:30 – 7 PM
This workshop will take a closer look at audio equipment and techniques to help make your video production sound its best.

Join this informal gathering of BCTV producers to review clips, share stories and techniques, and get re-inspired for your next production. Refreshments provided.
